HYPE is a West Michigan sports photography business focused on youth athletics. We work with high schools, middle schools, recreation leagues, travel teams, and individual athletes- both in studio and on location. Our services include custom-designed posters, banners, books and a variety of prints and specialty products.

Hey there! Brittlynn here, sharing a bit about me and my work. I have been a portrait photographer since about 2008. So much has changed since the day I picked up my first camera. After 15+ years of fine tuning my portrait work, we arrive at the images you see shared today. Although in the past I have provided a range of portraits from newborns to weddings, I have narrowed my focus to only youth sports. I absolutely love the energy that comes with photographing athletes.

I am and always will be a small town girl. Growing up on a horse farm, I learned to embrace hard work and appreciate the balance of life. I enjoy exercising, eating unique ethnic food, reading great books, laying in the grass on a sunny day, and of course spending time with my awesome husband and kids. We live on a little farm with cows, pigs, chickens, turkeys, ducks, and most recently, goats. When we’re not chasing cows out of the road we love to go kayaking or head out, top down in the Jeep, to the dunes at Silver Lake or just off the beaten path down some back roads. Our family philosophy is that the best memories are made from questionable decisions! YOLO! ;)
